Business Sustainability & ESG

  • ESG Action Plan

    RedZed Lending Solutions

RedZed is an investment lender with over 15 years of experience lending to small businesses and self-employed people. Aiming to become the preferred lender to Australia's self-employed, RedZed recognises the importance of sustainable development as a cornerstone of its business. RedZed engaged Encader Consulting to help it operationalise its Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Principles through an ESG Action Plan.

Stakeholders analysed the business value chain for environmental and social risks and opportunities using the UN Sustainable Development Goals framework. They then developed a practical roadmap that integrates environmental and social actions with existing governance actions across the business.

  • Kardinia Park Sustainability Action Plan

    Kardinia Park Stadium Trust

The Kardinia Park Stadium Trust in Geelong operates the iconic Kardinia Park Stadium, a highly valued regional community sporting venue. Recognising the stadium's role as a potential leader for sustainability, the Trust engaged Tony to develop a Sustainability Action Plan.

Tony engaged extensively with stadium staff and tenants to identify the critical sustainability issues, develop shared goals and co-design a suite of practical actions for collective implementation. The Sustainability Action Plan sits within the Trust's broader Strategic Plan and also fulfils the Trust's Statement of Expectations, which requires alignment with state carbon emissions targets.

  • Climate Active Application

    RedZed Lending Solutions

Aspiring to become a ‘net-zero’ emissions business, RedZed engaged Tony to prepare its first-ever carbon footprint and submit its application to become Climate Active. With Tony’s support, RedZed achieved Climate Active status in 2023.

  • Geelong Sustainability Strategic Review

    Geelong Sustainability

Tony led a strategic review for Geelong Sustainability, the primary voluntary sustainability organisation for Geelong, the Bellarine and Surf Coast regions. The review highlighted the transition for the group from a volunteer-based organisation towards a more professional, fee-for-service-based model and the implications of this change. The plan helped the group focus on its critical priorities for the coming few years.
